There's a new Robin Hood movie coming out.
I've loved Robin Hood since I was a kid. Richard Greene as Robin Hood is still on my local Channel 11.2 in the afternoons. That TV program dates back to the late 1950's.
The next Robin Hood I remember is Kevin Costner. His movie Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves came out in 1991 when I was teaching at Columbia Elementary School in Fairfax County, Virginia. I had to drive past the theaters on Little River Turnpike to get home. Stopped there after school one day and saw the movie first run. Bought the movie too.
I also have a Sean Connery movie from maybe 1976 called Robin and Marian. The Robin Hood character has aged in that movie.
Are there other Robin Hood's that I haven't mentioned?
Russell Crowe as the new Robin Hood? I'll have to wait and see.
